LIST: Canceled flights from Sept. 14 to 17, 2018

A total of 111 flights, both domestic and international, scheduled from Friday to Monday have been canceled due to Typhoon ‘Ompong,’ the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.

Miaa announced the cancellation of the following flights as of 3:00 p.m., Friday:

Meanwhile, seven flights were rescheduled to arrive at a different time on September 15, Saturday. The rescheduled flights are the following:

Miaa said the Philippine Airlines has not yet issued a newly estimated time of arrival on certain flights.

The Maritime Industry Authority and the Philippine Coast Guard canceled vessel trips at several ports nationwide because of typhoon “Ompong.”

“Ompong” is blowing maximum sustained winds of 205 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 255 kph.

It was last spotted 470 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora as of 1 p.m., moving west-northwest at 25 kph.

Ompong entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday afternoon and is expected to make landfall on the Cagayan-Isabela area on Saturday morning. /vvp
