12 nabbed as NBI takes down Pangasinan cyberporn den
DAGUPAN CITY – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Friday took down a cyber-pornography den and arrested 12 suspects at an apartment in this Pangasinan city.
Ten men, including the apartment owner, George Adam Tan, and two women were detained after the NBI caught some of them chatting with their foreign clients during the 10 a.m. raid in Barangay Tapuac, said Rizaldy Jaymalin, NBI Dagupan chief.
Jaymalin did not name the other suspects but said the men posed as females and lured unsuspecting clients to subscribe to their website for a US$50 fee.
“If their clients ask them to strip down, they would play a pre-recorded video,” Jaymalin said.
He said a concerned citizen reported the den’s activities.
