2 drug suspects fall in Malabon anti-drug ops

Two drug suspects were arrested in Malabon City on Friday after two sachets of suspected “shabu” were confiscated from their possession.

Police said in a report that policemen were on patrol when they chanced upon suspects Willy Pulga, 24, and Rodante Pedro, 29, acting suspicious upon seeing them.

When policemen accosted them, the suspects were seen holding what appeared to be sachets containing white crystalline substance along Sanciango Street corner Tiwala Street in Barangay Tonsuya at around 4:00 a.m.

Police said the confiscated evidence will be examined in the crime laboratory office in Valenzuela City.

The suspects, meanwhile, were temporarily detained at the custodial facility of the Malabon City Police Station, according to the report. /jpv
