4 hurt in Zambales road accident
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Four people were injured when a bus rammed into a pick-up truck along Sitio Loong, Barangay Luna in this town on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the Mitsubishi Strada pick-up truck, driven by Anacleto Reyes, 65, was forced to stop when a motorcycle suddenly cut through the road.
The bus behind the pick-up truck rammed into the vehicle, forcing it off a bridge and onto the river, said Senior Insp. Jonathan Bardaje, chief of San Antonio Municipal Police Station.
Reyes and his passengers, Teresita Mc Kenzie, 51; Armi Veloza, 43; and Nida Ragadio, 59, were rushed to Rural Health Unit in this town for treatment.
The police have yet to identify the driver of the motorcycle, who did not have a working headlight. /ee
