President Rodrigo Duterte is “sure” that the communists, Magdalo group, and his political opponents, whom he fondly calls “Yellows”, were in cahoots to destabilize his government.
“What I am sure is there is a collaborative effort of the Left, the Magdalo and the Yellow [to oust me],” Duterte said in a press briefing at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Thursday.
The President was referring to the Communist Party of the Philippines led by Joma Sison, the Magdalo – a group of rebel soldiers who railed about anomalies in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Liberal Party.
Earlier, Mr. Duterte said he has intelligence information supplied by a foreign country that his opponents have come together, scheming to oust him.

His critics however have said that Duterte’s claim of ouster plot was just part of his imagination. /kga
