President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday has done the iconic “dab” pose with Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal in Malacañang.
Duterte posed with Didal during the awarding of incentives to Filipino medalists at the recently concluded 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
Dabbing, or simply the dab, according to Wikipedia is “a dance move in which a person drops the head into the bent crook of a slanted arm while raising the opposite arm in a parallel direction but out straight; both arms are pointed to the side and at an upward angle.”
It is also a gesture of triumph.
Didal had done the dab pose every time she accomplished skateboarding tricks and stunts during the Asian Games competition.
Earlier, it was the senators who posed for the ‘dab’ with the Cebuana skateboarder. /ee
