Apolinario heads Mimaropa police

CITY OF CALAPAN – The regional police in Mimaropa will have Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario as its new director.

Supt. Imelda Tolentino, information officer of the Mimaropa police, said Apolinario would replace Chief Supt. Emmanuel Luis Licup, who was now designated to head the Zamboanga Peninsula police.


Apolinario was director of the Southern Police District (SPD) before being assigned as the new acting director of the Mimaropa police.

Senior Supt. Eliseo Cruz, former Highway Patrol Group deputy chief, will replace Apolinario at the SPD.


The change of command was held at the Camp Efigenio C Navarro in Barangay Suqui around 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Director Camilo Cascolan, head of the police Civil Security Group, as the guest of honor.
