LOOK: Flooding hits QC streets amid heavy rain Wednesday

Parts of Quezon City experienced flooding Wednesday morning after a heavy downpour, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

Citing a report of its Metrobase, the MMDA said the following areas were flooded as of 10:44 a.m.:

> Edsa corner Quezon Avenue, inner lane northbound fronting Centris (gutter deep, passable to all types of vehicles)

> Elliptical Road corner East Avenue (gutter deep, passable to all types of vehicles)

> Edsa Ortigas Avenue southbound fronting POEA (gutter deep, passable to all types of vehicles)

> Edsa southbound corner Mother Ignacia (tire deep, not passable to light vehicles)

> Ma. Clara Araneta Avenue east and westbound (tire deep, not passable to light vehicles)

Other reports said parts of the Maharlika, Anonas, V. Luna, and Kamias areas in Quezon City were also hit with flooding.

Floods in all areas monitored by the MMDA have subsided as of noon Wednesday, the agency said. /cbb
