Initial investigation revealed that Sabino is a runner of Jolly Lapuz Aliangan, a dismissed Police Ofificer 2 (PO2) who was previously detailed with the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and has been detained at the Manila City Jail since May 2016 for drug charges.

Police said Sabino’s arrest has revealed that Aliangan is still engaged in the illegal drug trade in Metro Manila and Calabarzon.

Police also recovered from the boodle money worth P800,000 from the suspect.

Drug charges are now being prepared against Sabino before the Office of City Prosecutor of City of Manila. /muf
