Pasig cops nab man for blackmailing teen with sex video
A 27-year-old man was arrested on robbery-extortion charges for threatening to show a recorded video of his sexual interaction with a 19-year-old girl he met online, police reported Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as Arraquib Jamdani, was apprehended by Pasig City police at Mangga St. Nacipo, Mangahan in Pasig City.
Police said Jamdani and the victim had sex last September 6, and on September 9, suspect asked the victim for a meet-up after revealing that he recorded their intimate tryst.
The victim reported the incident to authorities, who immediately launched an entrapment operation. Jamdani was eventually arrested.
Police recovered from the suspect the cellphone used to record the erotic affair. /kga
