Sr. Supt. Eliseo Cruz, newly installed Southern Police District (SPD) director, was formally introduced to the police personnel on Tuesday at the SPD Headquarters in Taguig.
During the ceremony presided by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Guillermo Eleazar, outgoing SPD director and new Police Regional Office 4-B Director Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr. officially turned over the post to Cruz.
According to a statement from the SPD, the ceremony is important as it marks the start of new challenges.
“This ceremony is considered a very significant one for it signals a new beginning and a new challenging start for both the outgoing and incoming district directors,” it said. /jpv
