Educator and lawyer Concepcion Aguila was born on Sept. 11, 1894.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws in 1924 and passed the bar that same year.
Her career in education ranged from being a kindergarten teacher to dean of Centro Escolar University Graduate School.
She was appointed member of the National Council of Education and National Commission on Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Matters.
Aguila died on Dec. 16, 1958.
