Sweden: Doctor suspected in vast case of child porn, rape
COPENHAGEN, Denmark — Swedish prosecutors said they will charge a medical doctor who is suspected of sexual violence, misconduct and child rape in a case involving 52 minors and 18 adults.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority said Monday the suspect has been held in pre-trial jail since December 29 and chiefly committed the crimes in his capacity as a doctor across Sweden and via an Internet-based medical service.
It said the crimes, which also include sexual misconduct and child pornography, took place between 2015 and 2017.

Prosecutors said the formal charges would be presented Wednesday.
