DID YOU KNOW: September is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

September was declared Cybersecurity Awareness Month by virtue of Proclamation No. 2054 signed on May 11, 2010, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The proclamation highlighted the need to create public awareness on cybersecurity information and reinforce efforts to address policies focused on cybersecurity and develop a national cyberdefense capability. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
