A magnitude 3.6 aftershock hit Davao Oriental after a strong magnitude 6.4 quake jolted parts of Southern Mindanao, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs said the aftershock happened at 5:18 p.m. on Saturday, with its epicenter at 16 kilometers southeast of Manay in Davao Oriental.
The quake had a depth of 13 kilometers.
A stronger quake struck the area at 3:16 p.m.
Phivolcs said no damage had so far been reported, although some areas reportedly lost power.
