3 vehicles cleared on EDSA southbound lane after mishap; no one hurt–MMDA

MANILA, Philippines — An accident involving three vehicles along the southbound lane of EDSA-Monte de Piedad Street snarled traffic early morning on Wednesday but no one was reported hurt, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

Joel Waje of the MMDA Metrobase said that a Lucena Bus, a City Bus and a dump truck collided at around 5:27 a.m., blocking one lane and causing heavy traffic in the area.

“No one was reported injured,” he said, adding that responding MMDA officers were able to clear the road of the three vehicles as of 6:25 a.m.
