LUCENA CITY – A woman suspected of drug peddling was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Lucena City early Friday, police said.
Supt. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Rosana Santos after she sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a transaction in a middle-class subdivision in Barangay (village) Ilayang Iyam around 5:20 a.m.
Authorities seized 26 sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of more than P2,000.
Police said Santos is included in their drug watch list being a notorious supplier of illegal drugs to users in the subdivision and nearby areas.
