Cloudy skies, rain seen in parts of Visayas, Mindanao–Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern section of Visayas and the whole of Mindanao as a trough of low pressure area is affecting the southern part of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to ocassionally rough, the state weather bureau said.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
