Classes in Lian, Lipa City in Batangas suspended due to bad weather
Classes in some municipalities in Batangas were suspended on Friday due to bad weather caused by a low pressure area (LPA) in Oriental Mindoro.
Local authorities in Batangas have announced that the following municipalities announced the suspension of classes:
All levels (public and private schools)

Aside from the LPA hovering near Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) is also monitoring another LPA spotted inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) near Basco, Batanes. /muf
