Suspected drug pusher falls in Lucena buy-bust

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation here early Tuesday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Noel Coronel after he sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay Dalahican around 1 a.m., a report from the Quezon police said.

Authorities confiscated nine sachets of shabu weighing six grams worth P30,000.

Despite the repeated arrest of drug pushers in the coastal village, illegal drugs peddling to port workers, fishers, tricycle drivers, and youths continue to remain rampant. DELFIN T. MALLARI JR.
