Special registration for seniors, PWDs

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will hold on Wednesday a special registration for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens in all offices of city or municipal officers across the country.

Earlier, the Comelec urged senior citizens and PWDs to declare their status when they register as voters. It lamented that senior citizens and PWDs were not readily accommodated at polling places during the recent barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls. —TINA G. SANTOS
