Magnitude 4.0 quake strikes off Surigao del Norte town
A Magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck northeast of the coast of Burgos in Surigao del Norte on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the tectonic earthquake was located 89 kilometers northeast of Burgos at a depth of eight kilometers below the ground.
No aftershocks and no damages have been recorded as of now. /muf
