Two men allegedly peddling illegal drugs in tandem in San Juan City were arrested by police in a buy-bust operation on Friday.
Police said in a report that suspects John John dela Cruz, 21; and Jeric Jones, 29, were apprehended during a drug bust along S. Veloso Street in Barangay Salapan.
Authorities said Dela Cruz is a newly identified personality in the drug watchlist while Jones had spent time in jail for drug charges in February 2017 and only released months later after posting bail.
The San Juan City police said the suspects admitted to the crime and even disclosed that their supplier is based in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Operatives recovered from the scene sachets of suspected shabu as well as the marked money used in the buy-bust operation.
Dela Cruz and Jones are now behind bars in San Juan City and would be facing drug charges. /kga
