Journalist and TV personality Katherine “Kat” De Castro will no longer serve as Tourism Undersecretary as President Rodrigo Duterte appointed her to a government-owned television station.

In the appointment letters released on Wednesday, Duterte transferred De Castro to the International Broadcasting Corporation (IBC-13) as a member of the board of directors.

De Castro will serve at IBC-13 until June 30, 2019.

The Chief Executive replaced De Castro with Edwin Ragos Enrile, who was appointed to serve at the Department of Tourism (DOT) as Undersecretary.   /vvp
