CITY OF CALAPAN – Two men arrested in a buy-bust operation tried to bribe the arresting team in exchange for their freedom in Roxas town, Palawan early Wednesday morning, police said.
Police and anti-drug agents arrested Crisanto Albano Jr., 37, a businessman; and Mark Anthony Caabay Villareal, 27, a private employee, in Barangay 4 at around 1 a.m., Mimaropa police information officer Supt. Imelda Tolentino said.
Confiscated from them were sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and P300 cash used as buy-bust money.
