Man nabbed for killing dad in Mandaluyong

A 43-year old man was arrested by the Mandaluyong City Police for allegedly stabbing his 64-year old father dead on Monday.

Police identified the suspect as Rolando Bonsato, who allegedly murdered his father Rodolfo inside their house in Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City.


According to investigators, a neighbor identified as Jimmy Reyes heard a commotion inside the house at around 2:00 a.m. on Monday.

Police said another neighbor Edwin San Gaspar later discovered the body of the victim with multiple stab wounds on Wednesday at around 7:00 a.m.


The suspect was later arrested along Barangay Barangka Ibaba in Mandaluyong City, police said.

He was brought to the Mandaluyong City Prosecutor’s Office for inquest proceedings for a case of parricide. /muf
