MANILA, Philippines — Four people were killed while two others were hurt in a shooting incident in Quezon City Monday night, police said Tuesday.
The fatalities were identified as Liderato Permejo, Hermenio Manansala, Roger Agustin and Roel Jumampo.
Officer 1 Amante Cabatec of the Quezon City Police District’s Station 6 said the four and two others identified as Salve Ballesteros and Armando Garcia were drinking at a house in Kalayaan B Street, Barangay (village Batasan Hills at around 9:25 p.m. when they were approached and repeatedly shot by three unidentified suspects.
The suspects fled right after the incident, Cabatec added.
Ballesteros and Garcia were rushed to the General Miguel Malvar Medical Foundation Hospital and East Avenue Medical Center, he said.
Cabatec said that investigation and follow-up operations were underway.
