Son of DILG-Jolo chief abducted in Sulu
ZAMBOANGA CITY – Six unidentified armed men abducted a 10-year old boy in Barangay San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 16.
The armed men aboard three motorcycles took the Grade 5 pupil of Notre Dame Jolo in Barangay Kasanyangan, Senior Supt. Pablo Labra, provincial police director, said.
The abductors were headed towards Patikul town in Sulu.
Dr. Raden Ikbala, a convener of the Bangsamoro Sug Against Kidnapping and other Crimes, said the boy, son of the Department of Interior and Local Government chief in Jolo, was the latest kidnap victim in Sulu.
Labra said police could not yet determine the motive of the abduction.
