Ex-Baguio village councilor in ‘narcolist’ nabbed
BAGUIO CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) members and Baguio police arrested a former village councilman in an anti-drugs operation Wednesday (Aug. 15) near the Veteran’s Park.
Arrested was Dick Bravo, 43, after he sold P10,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover agent, a PDEA report says.
Bravo was in the list of Barangay Lopez Jaena candidates allegedly tied to illegal narcotics.
PDEA made the list public before the May 14 barangay elections, drawing criticisms from senators and civil rights groups for indirectly manipulating votes.
