Lady prosecutor in viral video apologizes to MMDA enforcers

The woman and her husband who were caught in a viral video arguing with traffic enforcers apologized to the personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday.

“We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the MMDA enforcers especially to Col. Bong Nebrija,” the woman, who is a public prosecutor, said.

She claimed that emotions got the better of her during the altercation with Nebrija and the enforcers.

“We ask for your understanding in the matter as emotions got the best of us,” she added.

The video, posted by Gadget Addict on Facebook on Tuesday, now has more than 10 million views, 237,000 shares, and 191,000 comments.

Earlier, the MMDA asked the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to suspend or revoke the license of the prosecutor.

The MMDA added that they have also coordinated with Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra to take the necessary action against the lady prosecutor. /ee
