P1.3M worth of shabu seized in Bacoor City

SAN PEDRO CITY – Police recovered suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth more than a million pesos in two anti-drugs operation in Bacoor City, Cavite, Wednesday.

Supt. Vicente Cabatingan, Bacoor City police chief, said a buy-bust operation around 9:30 a.m. in Barangay Niog 3 resulted in the arrest of Rowena Eugenio, 42.

He said Eugenio, a resident of Dasmariñas City but a native of Gubat, Sorsogon, was in the police watchlist for illegal drug pushers.

Police recovered about a hundred grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000 from Eugenio, Cabatingan said.

In Barangay Molino 4, three other suspected drug pushers were arrested inside Camella Springville Subdivision on Wednesday morning.

Franco Marquez, 38; Jojo Ian Canomizado, 33; and Kasandra Martinez, 20, allegedly supplied drugs to patrons living inside the subdivision, Cabatingan said.
