Police said Velasquez and the victim met online in a dating website in May and decided to meet in person in the same month.

The suspect and his ex-girlfriend reportedly met again in a hotel in Mandaluyong City on June, where Velasquez allegedly took her nude photos after their sexual intercourse.

Authorities said the victim reportedly broke up with Velasquez through a text message on July for failure to message her after a few meetups.

Velasquez then threatened the victim on July 28 that he will upload her nude photos online if she will not agree to meet him again.

She agreed with the meetup only to find out that the suspect wanted to borrow P10,000, which she declined.

Police said the suspect repeated this threat on August 9 and sent the nude photos in a private message to the victim’s social media account.
