Cop, 2 others survive shooting in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY—PO2 Prometheus Remolador was thankful enough after he survived a shooting incident on Friday at 8:40 p.m. at Purok Madasigon, Sta. Lucia District here.

Senior Inspector Glenn Pollescas, Pagadian police investigator, said Remolador,  41, a policeman assigned at the Regional Mobile Force Battalion in Balintawak village here,  was with Glendel Garciano Delator, 33, and Melchor Pasyol Siso, 21, both pork roasting station workers at a lechon display booth here when unidentified men on board a Honda Wave motorcycle stopped and shot the victims several times.

Remolador sustained gunshot wounds on his left breast and another one on his buttocks.

The bullet grazed through Delator’s left face while Siso was hit on his right shoulder.

The victims were rushed to the Hofilenia Hospital as the gunmen fled. /jpv
