SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed during a buy-bust operation in Imus City in Cavite province, the police said Thursday.
The suspect was identified as Roberto Advincula in a report from the regional police headquarters on Thursday.
The report said undercover policemen conducted the sting operation around 11 p.m. Wednesday along Palanas bridge in Barangay (village) Buhay na Tubig.
Advincula must have realized he was dealing with policemen when he drew out his gun and began firing. The police shot him back.
The suspect died while being taken to the Medical Center Imus.
The police recovered a .38 caliber gun from the suspect. MARICAR CINCO
