New Legazpi City Hospital ready to serve patients

LEGAZPI CITY — The city government has opened the newly built P120-million Legazpi City Hospital here on Wednesday.

Mayor Noel Rosal said the first level hospital, which is in Barangay Bitano, would be a “legacy of every Legazpeño.”

Dr. Jose Relacion, hospital chief, said the facility could initially accommodate 25 patients.

He said they were still trying to work out for it to have a capacity of 60 patients, with state of the art medical equipment.

All rooms are air-conditioned, while the waiting area for the out-patient deparmnet is equipped with flat screen television. /atm
