Woman visiting jailed partner nabbed for shabu smuggle try

A 41-year old woman who was visiting her jailed partner at the Talipapa Police Station in Quezon City on Wednesday, was arrested shortly after it was discovered that she was trying to sneak in a sachet of shabu.

Police said Joan Dela Cruz had requested to visit her partner Crisencio Tismo at the police station jail at about 2:45 a.m. and bring him some food. Tismo was also arrested for illegal drugs last July, police said.

During a routine body check on visitors however, police officers found the sachet of shabu on Dela Cruz.

Police said Dela Cruz will be detained as charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against her.  /muf
