Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar on Monday asserted that Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson is not a spokesperson for federalism.
Andanar also said the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) was not aware of the decision of Consultative Committee (Con-Com) spokesman Ding Generoso to tap Uson to spread awareness on federalism.
“Si Mocha ba yung spokesperson? As far as the interagency is concerned, no. Meron bang paalam sa PCOO si spokesperson Ding? Wala,” Andanar stressed in a press conference.
Andanar said the PCOO was not privy to whatever Generoso and Uson talked about.
“It’s up to Ding now to talk to Mocha. Kung ano man yung pinag usapan nila, sa kanila lang yun, basta hindi kasama dito yung inter agency, hindi kasama dito ang PCOO kasi hindi nga dumaan sa akin, hindi naman dumaan sa inter agency,” Andanar said.
Generoso earlier washed his hands off the controversy, saying the video blog was posted on social media on Thursday.
Generoso said he and Uson met in Malacañang for a brainstorming session on the upcoming information drive the next day.
