12 injured in Makati bus accident

MANILA, Philippines – Twelve persons were hurt after two buses figured in an accident along the southbound lane of Estrella Street in Makati City Monday morning, a 990AM report said.

April Co, a medic from the MMDA rescue unit, said that they rushed the injured to the Ospital ng Makati in Barangay (village) Pembo after a St. Martin Bus (TXH-714) rammed a City Bus (UVC-580) at around 6:40 a.m.

The accident snarled traffic in the area and was monitored up to Scout Albano, said the report.
