6 fall in Pasay City drug buy bust

At least P18,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized from six suspects in a buy-bust operation at Barangay 14 in Pasay City on Wednesday morning.

Reports from the Pasay City Police Station said suspects Felomino Rublica, 41 years old; Fernando Lozada, 36; Joel Melbourne, 37; Glenda Maburang, 38; Angeline Ramas, 38; and Randy Caberos, 39 years old, were arrested by agents of the station’s Drug Enforcement Unit along Estrella I street.

According to the Pasay police, the target of the operation was Rublica, who was included in the barangay’s list of suspected drug pushers.

A total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspects. Also seized from the suspects was the marked P500 used in the buy bust.

Police said charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the six arrested suspects.  /muf
