Police nabs man suspected of using drugs in Sampaloc

A man suspected of using illegal drugs was arrested by the Sampaloc Police in Manila on Wednesday.

Police identified the suspect as Edgar Potulin, 47. He was arrested along Alindada and Matimyas Streets in Barangay 532, Zone 53 at 11:50 in the morning.


Lasina, who lives in Sta. Mesa, was tipped to be using illegal drugs by a concerned citizen, according to a police report.

Authorities recovered from the suspect a small, heat-sealed, transparent plastic sachet that contained a white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu.”


Lasina will face charges in violation of the Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /je
