NBI collars pusher in Zamboanga Sibugay drug sting

PAGADIAN CITY – The National Bureau of Investigation arrested an illegal drug trader in a buy-bust operation Tuesday in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

NBI Pagadian District Office Chief Israel Ivan Peralta Danilo Diaz, of Lower Taway, Ipil town, Zamboanga Sibugay, was caught selling illegal drugs in Barangay Don Andres of the same town with an NBI agent who stood as poseur buyer.

Peralta said the suspect covered his transactions as a tricycle driver and delivered the drugs to buyers.

One sachet of suspected illegal drugs worth P8,000 was recovered from the transaction along with the money used in the buy-bust and Peralta’s tricycle. /cbb
