Suspected drug pusher killed in Tondo buy-bust

A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation that turned into a shootout in Tondo, Manila early Tuesday morning.

Recovered from slain suspect Anthony “Toni” Roque, 33 was a caliber .38 revolver with five empty shells, 11 plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and the P500 marked cash used in the bust.

The buy-bust was conducted around 1:45 a.m. at Building 3 Temporary Housing, Happy Land Barangay 105 Tondo, Manila by joint operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) and the Smokey Mountain Police Community Precinct.

Police said the seized suspected shabu will be turned over to the Manila Police District-Crime Laboratory Office for examination.  /muf
