The southwest monsoon will continue to affect the western section of Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
In its morning bulletin, the Pagasa said the southwest monsoon (habagat) would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Palawan, and the Mindoro Provinces.
The weather bureau warned residents of the affected areas of possible flooding and landslides caused by moderate to at times heavy rain.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms but due to localized thunderstorms. /cbb
