New LPA spotted, to bring scattered rain and cloudy skies

A new low pressure area (LPA) was last spotted off Batangas, the state weather bureau said Friday.

The new LPA was last spotted 60 kilometers west of Ambulong, Batangas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The LPA will enhance the southwest monsoon and will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Palawan, Mindoro and Western Visayas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.
