Broken rail briefly interrupts MRT 3 operations
A broken rail was detected at the interstation of Boni and Guadalupe (southbound) of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) on Thursday night.
Trips were “regulated,” according to a post on its official Twitter account.

A broken rail has been detected at the interstation of Boni and Guadalupe (Southbound). All trains are regulated while intervention is ongoing. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The MRT said in an advisory that the defect was detected around 7:12 p.m. but was fixed immediately.
Trains have started moving at 7:34 p.m. There were no reports of unloading of passengers. /ee
