Retired US Air Force man killed in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – A retired United States Air Force man was found dead from fatal blows to the head at his home here on Tuesday (July 17), according to the Cordillera police.

Miriam Bautista, a household helper, found the body of her employer Emelito Nalapo at 6:30 a.m. in his residence at Barangay (village) Pinsao Proper.


Nalapo may have been attacked at 1 a.m., and had died from “intracranial hemorrhage” which he suffered due to multiple hack wounds on his head, according to forensic investigators.

His killer or killers may have gained access to the house through a second floor window. The police have yet to determine why Nalapo was killed./lb
