In an advisory posted on Twitter, Acting Chief Justice Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio ordered the work suspension “in view of the continuos rain and persistent threats of flooding”, citing the state weather agency’s rainfall alerts.

Caprio’s work suspension order also covered the SC, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, and Court of Tax Appeals.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said monsoon rain will persist in Metro Manila and most parts of Luzon on Wednesday.
