NGCP worker at Kalinga repair site mugged

BAGUIO CITY – One of the workers of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), sent to repair power lines in Kalinga province, was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night (July 10), the Cordillera police said.

Two men took P2,000 and change from NGCP employee Delmar Flores Monce, 41, who was cooking food along the roadside at Rizal town while his companions were fixing the lines at 7:15 p.m. in Barangay (village) Liwan West.

The suspects fled towards Tabuk City on a motorcycle.
