Cloudy skies, rain, thunderstorms in PH – Pagasa
Palawan, Mindoro and Western Visayas would have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, the government’s weather agency said Wednesday.
The southwest monsoon is affecting the western sections of Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms, according to the state weather bureau.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said winds are expected to be moderate to strong from the southwest over the northern and western sections of Luzon, and coastal waters would be moderate to rough.
Light to moderate winds from southwest to west with slight to moderate coastal waters are expected over the rest of the country, it added. /kga
