SAN PEDRO CITY – A village chief was arrested in a police anti-drug operation in Famy, Laguna early Tuesday.
Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, spokesperson of the Calabarzon police, named the suspect as Alfredo Manuel Jr.
Manuel, captain of Barangay Damayan, also topped the police’s watchlist for illegal drugs, the report said.
Gaoiran said police implemented a search warrant around 6 a.m. and recovered from Manuel at least four sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth).
